Word Play

An odd fish
with eyes on one side…
like us, odd ducks
with manta-like wings that want to fly
like us,
But they simply make the water easier to navigate
like us and our four star navigation systems
and brown spots that camouflage the fish
like our boutique costumes camouflage us
since we all look the same anyway–some pay a significant amount to
look not that significantly different from the person they
board the train with
As the fish rests on the bottom
like the slow bottom feeders we know
and are.
